About the role

You will be helping with the day-to-day running of the front of our store, assisting customers and supporting our sales, parts and workshop teams. This is a varied position that would suit someone who enjoys dealing with people, working in a hands-on setting and being part of a small team.

Key responsibilities

- Serving and assisting customers in-store
- Answering incoming phone calls and customer enquiries
- Assisting customers with parts identification and parts interpretation
- Preparing and processing invoices
- Entering invoices and maintaining accurate records
- Receiving, checking and putting away stock
- Stock control and general store organisation
- Contacting customers regarding repairs, orders and collections
- Organising and completing local deliveries and pickups
- Keeping the showroom, counter and shop clean and presentable

About you





- Has a current Australian driver's licence
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills
- Is confident speaking with customers face-to-face and over the phone
- Is organised and able to multitask
- Has good computer skills and is comfortable entering information into a system
- Has good attention to detail
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Is willing to learn about mower, small engine and outdoor power equipment parts
- Can work independently but also enjoys being part of a team
- Is physically capable of handling stock and assisting with deliveries
