Payroll / HR Officer

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll or HR professional to join our HR team, within a global context, as our Payroll/HR Officer. Salaried based payroll - without awards, EBAs or time and attendance.

This is a hands-on role responsible for end-to-end payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions (differing countries), while providing broad HR and Recruitment support.

You will play a key role in a global team, working from a professional head office in the Perth CBD.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll

- End to end Payroll processing (non-complex processing)
- Preparation of taxation, super/pension and other lodgements
- Month-end payroll reporting support
- Audit support and maintaining accurate payroll and employee records
- Asist with local recruitment activities, including advertising, screening, and onboarding

HR

- Provide support Recruitment and HR support
- Maintain HRIS compliance
- Assist with the implementation of HRIS and Payroll systems
- Assist with the development of HR and Payroll policies and procedures




- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment legislation

About You

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or similar is highly desirable
- 3+ years’ experience in a HR and Payroll role
- Solid payroll compliance knowledge (PAYG, Super/Pensions, etc)
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
- Experience in mining or resources is desirable
- Experience supporting international payroll is desirable
