Parts Coordinator

Full Time | Permanent | Brisbane Airport Take ownership of the Parts function at Freightquip's new Brisbane Airport facility.

As we establish our new Brisbane Airport facility, we're looking for an experienced Parts Coordinator to become our first dedicated Parts team member on site.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone with experience in parts interpreting, automotive or mechanical parts, stores or inventory who enjoys taking ownership of their work.

Reporting to our National Parts Manager and supported by our wider interstate Parts team, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day Parts operation in Brisbane – from identifying and ordering parts through to receiving, stock control, customer enquiries, picking and dispatch.

The Role

You'll take responsibility for keeping the Brisbane Parts function organised, accurate and responsive to both our technicians and customers.

Your responsibilities will include

- Coordinating daily parts requirements for our workshop, service team and external customers
- Responding to parts enquiries and preparing quotations and orders
- Identifying and sourcing parts using digital parts catalogues and company systems
- Ordering, receiving, receipting, storing, picking and dispatching parts
- Monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishment
- Maintaining accurate stock locations and inventory records
- Conducting cycle counts and stocktakes and resolving discrepancies
- Liaising with suppliers and freight providers to follow up orders and deliveries
- Providing customers with accurate pricing, availability and order updates
- Processing workshop and customer parts returns
- Maintaining purchase orders,



invoices and parts transactions
- Identifying opportunities to grow internal and external parts sales
- Helping establish practical Parts processes and systems as our Brisbane operation grows

As the first dedicated Parts team member at the facility, you'll have the opportunity to make the role your own and help establish how the local Parts operation runs day to day.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, practical and comfortable working independently. Ideally, you'll bring:

- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, Parts Coordinator, Storeperson or in a similar automotive, mechanical or industrial parts role
- A good understanding of automotive, mechanical or industrial equipment parts
- Experience with inventory systems, Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and/or digital parts catalogues
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple parts orders and priorities
- Good numerical skills and strong attention to detail
- Confidence using computer-based systems and spreadsheets
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership of the Parts function
- The ability to safely undertake regular parts handling

Experience within heavy vehicles, automotive, mechanical equipment, aviation GSE or similar industries would be highly regarded.
