Your Opportunity
As our People & Culture Partner, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of People & Culture operations across NBCF. Working closely with leaders and teams across the organisation, you'll deliver practical people solutions, trusted advice and high-quality employee lifecycle services that enhance employee experience, strengthen organisational capability and support workforce performance.
Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, the role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution across all aspects of People & Culture while helping deliver key workforce, culture and organisational development initiatives. You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of NBCF's People & Culture Strategy and contributing to organisational capability, employee experience and workforce performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of People & Culture operations across the employee lifecycle.
- Provide trusted People & Culture advice and support to employees and leaders.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, probation and offboarding activities.
- Coordinate performance review processes and support leaders in managing people matters.
- Coordinate learning and development, employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives.
- Support workforce planning, talent and succession initiatives.
- Maintain and optimise HR systems, people processes and workforce reporting.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies and governance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement across People & Culture systems, processes and services.
- Support People & Culture projects and the delivery of NBCF's People & Culture Strategy.
About You
You are an experienced People & Culture professional who enjoys balancing hands-on operational delivery with providing practical advice and support to leaders and employees.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same and are comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy, professionalism and discretion. You are proactive, organised and solutions-focused, with the confidence to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
With at least five years' experience in Human Resources, you bring strong knowledge of employment legislation, employee lifecycle management and contemporary people practices. You enjoy building trusted relationships, coaching leaders, improving processes and creating positive employee experiences.

What You'll Bring
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary People & Culture practices.
- Demonstrated experience across recruitment,
employee relations, performance management, workforce reporting and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience administering and optimising HRIS platforms, workforce reporting and People & Culture processes.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and provide practical advice and coaching to leaders and employees.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.
- The confidence to work independently, exercise sound judgement and take ownership of outcomes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
