Performance Test Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Automation Engineer to support the delivery of high-quality digital solutions through robust performance testing and test automation practices. This role will play a key part in validating system scalability, reliability, and performance while contributing to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks within an Agile environment.

The successful candidate will bring solid experience in performance testing, automation engineering, CI/CD integration, and cloud-based test execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop comprehensive performance test plans and workload models based on non-functional requirements.
- Prepare, maintain, and execute performance test scripts, test data, and test scenarios.
- Analyse test results, identify bottlenecks, establish baselines, and provide detailed recommendations for performance improvements.
- Create and maintain performance testing artefacts, reports, and documentation.
- Develop and support automated testing frameworks using tools such as Playwright and Selenium with C#.
- Execute automated tests across distributed environments using Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Virtual Machine Scale Sets.
- Configure and manage virtual machine environments required for performance testing activities.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and continuous quality assurance.

Mandatory Requirements To be considered for this opportunity,



candidates must demonstrate:

✅ Proven experience in Performance Testing.

✅ Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks using tools such as:

- Playwright
- Selenium
- C# scripting

Desired Experience

Candidates will be highly regarded if they have demonstrated experience in:

- Developing performance test plans and workload models from non-functional requirements.
- Preparing test scripts, test data, and executing performance tests.
- Working with performance testing tools including:
- LoadRunner Cloud
- LoadRunner On-Premise
- Apache JMeter
- Virtual Machine setup and management for test execution.
- Test result analysis, performance reporting, baseline creation, and recommendations.
- Preparing and maintaining performance testing documentation and artefacts.
- Working within Agile project environments.
- Creating and maintaining automated test cases and scripts while supporting manual testing activities.
- Distributed automated test execution using Azure VM or Azure Virtual Machine Scale Sets.
- Establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
