About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join the team at Michael's Chemist in Wembley, WA. As a Full-Time Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy's operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and patient care. The role is Monday to Friday 7am -3pm. This position offers a rewarding career in the healthcare industry, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and care to the local community.

Key responsibilities

- Supporting the Pharmacist and Dispensary Technicians in their day-to-day duties within the pharmacy
- Accurately processing and maintaining meticulous records, managing receipting of new stock deliveries
- Providing exceptional customer service, answering patient queries and offering guidance on over-the-counter medications, S2 qualification is highly regarded
- Stocking and maintaining the pharmacy's inventory, ensuring stock is well-organised and available
- Adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients
- Collaborating with the pharmacy team to implement recent workflows and improve operational efficiency

About you





- Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a customer-facing role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic and professional customer service
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
- A genuine interest in the pharmacy and a commitment to ongoing learning and development. Must hold CPR and First Aid qualifications
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and a demonstrated understanding of patient confidentiality
- A team-oriented attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
