Company Description Active Pelvic Health is a Melbourne-based expert physiotherapy clinic focused on empowering people through movement, education, and personalised pelvic health care. Role Description The Physiotherapist will provide high-quality pelvic health and musculoskeletal physiotherapy services to a diverse client base in an on-site, full-time role located in Melbourne, VIC. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualised treatment plans, and delivering manual therapy and exercise-based interventions. The role involves educating clients about pelvic health, injury prevention, and self-management strategies, as well as supporting them through stages such as pregnancy, postpartum, return to sport, and menopause.





The Physiotherapist will maintain accurate clinical documentation, collaborate with other health professionals where appropriate, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive clinic culture. Participation in career development, evidence-informed practice, and occasional clinic initiatives or workshops is expected.

Qualifications

- Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist and relevant professional indemnity insurance.
- Clinical experience or strong interest in pelvic health, including assessment and treatment of conditions such as incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Skills in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, including movement assessment, exercise prescription, and return-to-sport planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, provide clear education, and support clients from diverse gender identities and backgrounds.
- Commitment to evidence-informed, person-centred care, including ongoing professional learning and reflective practice.
- Ability to work independently within a small team environment, manage a clinical caseload, and maintain thorough, timely documentation.
- Experience or training in women’s health, pelvic floor physiotherapy, or related postgraduate courses is highly regarded.
- Comfort with using clinical practice software and basic digital tools for scheduling, notes, and communication.
