Virtuosi School of Music is seeking an experienced Violin & Viola Teacher/Tutor to join our teaching team.

Our mission is to develop and nurture excellence in music through a high standard of individual tuition in a supportive and professional environment.

The successful applicant will provide individual violin and viola tuition to students of varying ages and abilities; encourage and prepare students for concerts, examinations and auditions; work collaboratively as part of our teaching team; and hold a current Working with Children (Blue Card).

Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated teaching experience, solid performance skills, the ability to work successfully as part of a team, and tertiary or other relevant music qualifications.

Current teaching hours are available on one or two afternoons/evenings per week at our Kenmore studio, with the potential for additional hours.

We welcome applications from accomplished violinists who also have experience teaching viola.

Job Type: Subcontract

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
