Use policy expertise to drive quality, compliance and continuous improvement
Minda has a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Policy Advisor to work closely with leaders and subject matter experts to influence policy and governance outcomes across one of South Australia's largest disability service providers.
Reporting to the Company Secretary, you'll play a key role in supporting governance, compliance and continuous improvement across Minda by coordinating the end-to-end policy lifecycle and transforming complex information into clear, practical and user-friendly documents.

What you'll do
- Coordinate the policy lifecycle, including assisting with drafting, coordination, consultation, review and approvals.
- Partner with subject matter experts to develop fit for purpose documents aligned with organisational standards and governance requirements.
- Review policies, procedures and frameworks for consistency, clarity, formatting, readability and compliance,
and perform follow up of documents due for review.
- Provide practical advice and support on policy writing style, structure, consultation and governance processes.
- Coordinate stakeholder consultation and feedback processes, ensuring input is considered and incorporated where appropriate.
- Assist to maintain policy registers, governance records and document control.
- Manage version control, archival and retirement of superseded documents.
- Support governance assurance, audits and continuous improvement activities.
What you'll bring
- Experience in policy coordination, technical writing, compliance, or document management environments.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate end to end document development involving engagement with multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading and document formatting skills, strong attention to detail, with the ability to critically review and refine content into transparent, concise and user-friendly documents.
- Sound SharePoint or similar document management systems experience.
- Confidence building relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive approach, and ability to work autonomously to achieve outcomes.
- Experience within the disability, community services, government or regulated sectors will be highly regarded.
