Help us turn PR expertise into practical training

Three days per week - Permanent part-time role

My PR Partner, a division of CRC Public Relations, provides practical public relations training, resources and support to businesses, schools, industry associations and communications professionals.

We’re looking for a capable and highly organised PR & Learning Content Coordinator to help us develop, coordinate and deliver our growing range of online training programs.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking an idea and turning it into something tangible – a training module, video, article, workbook, template, checklist or other practical resource.

You don’t need to be a senior PR strategist or an experienced trainer. However, some professional experience in public relations or communications is important, as you’ll need to understand the principles behind the content we produce.

You’ll work closely with our directors, who will provide strategic PR input and guidance, but we’re looking for someone who can take that direction and make things happen.

What you’ll be working on

My PR Partner delivers specialist programs across:

● Crisis communications

● Independent and Christian schools

● Industry and professional associations

● Businesses and not-for-profit organisations

You will help coordinate and develop content across these programs, ensuring new training and resources are produced consistently and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

● Coordinating the schedule of training modules, resources and other content across our programs

● Helping develop online training content from initial concepts and information provided by our trainers

● Researching and drafting training scripts, articles, workbooks, templates, checklists and practical resources

● Coordinating the production of training and other video content

● Helping turn existing PR knowledge and material into engaging, easy-to-understand learning content

● Repurposing training content into articles, emails and other communications





● Reviewing and updating existing training and resources

● Helping identify new topics and resources that would be valuable to our subscribers

● Managing content deadlines and ensuring projects keep moving

● Liaising with our external marketing company and providing the content and information they require

● Assisting with other My PR Partner communications and content projects as required.

Who we’re looking for The right person is likely to have experience in public relations, communications, content or a related field, combined with excellent writing and organisational skills.

Most importantly, you are someone who gets things done.

You should be comfortable being given a concept, some background information and direction, and then taking responsibility for developing it into a finished piece of content.

You will ideally have:

● Professional experience in PR, communications or a closely related area

● Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills

● A good understanding of PR, media relations and communications

● Strong research skills

● Excellent organisational and project coordination skills

● The ability to manage multiple content projects and deadlines

● Confidence working with digital content and online platforms

● An interest in producing video and online content

● The ability to work independently while taking direction and feedback

● Attention to detail

● A practical, proactive approach to getting things finished.

Experience developing online training, educational content or professional development resources would be highly regarded, but is not essential.

you don’t need to be a professional videographer or video editor. What matters is that you’re comfortable helping plan and coordinate video content and are willing to learn.
