Leading global Tech firm seeks Procurement Operations Manager to play a key role driving change in excellent CBD office (4 days in office, 1 day from home).

As Procurement Operations Manager, you will manage a team of 3 staff & own the operational oversight of APAC procurement while leading & contributing to select Transformation initiatives within a global program co-owned by Procurement & Finance.

You will work closely with Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, Legal, and business teams to stabilise operations, improve data quality, adopt AI into their ways of working, and provide data-driven insights that enable better decision-making.

Responsibilities

- Own APAC Operations - Local Change & Stakeholder Management - Own end-to-end operational oversight of the APAC R2P landscape: PO health, requisitions, approvals, invoice reconciliation, and exception management.
- Be the local face of Procurement for APAC stakeholders - driving change adoption, embedding new ways of working, and acting as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on the process to purchase, approve, renew, and reconcile spend. Drive the APAC regional PO rollout toward the target of 90% PO-backed addressable spend.
- Adopt Automation & AI in Local Operations - Use AI and automation to run APAC operations more efficiently, and contribute to global AI-First R2P initiatives that streamline intake, invoicing,



and other manual touchpoints. Experiment with new tools locally and feed what works into the global program.

Qualifications· Bachelor's degree in operations, business, supply chain, finance, or related field. · 4 - 7 years' experience in procurement operations in Technology or Financial Services, with a focus on transformation / supply chain / finance / consulting.

· Experience building or improving processes with an eye for simplicity, efficiency, and scalability across regions.

· Comfortable using AI and automation tools to work more efficiently, with the curiosity to adopt and experiment with new ways of working.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity – you understand the impact of bad data on both reporting and AI.

· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills; able to balance daily operational ownership with broader improvement projects.

· Proactive problem solver who can identify, escalate, propose, and resolve operational inefficiencies.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - comfortable working across Procurement, Finance, AP, Legal, and business teams.

· Full Australian working rights & fluent English skills

Excellent to have

· You’ve shipped solutions using Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.

· Experience working with business intelligence or data analytics teams.

· Tool experience: Coupa, Databricks, Claude Code, Cursor, N8N, Tableau or PowerBI
