This global resources client has a brand-current sustainable flagship project under construction

Through new and innovative technologies, they intend to unlock decarbonization at scale and deliver a cost-competitive facility that will help eliminate fossil fuels in operations as well as reducing freshwater use.

They have an urgent requirement for a Procurement / Sourcing Specialist to assist with a range of sourcing activities across technology scopes with niche suppliers and consultants.

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Partnering with internal stakeholders and providing procurement advice in the development and review of their scope of requirements in partnership with business stakeholders
- Work within the Corporate function,



bringing an analytical background and procurement experience preferably within services contracts
- Working closely with the Category Managers and supporting the wider team in delivering procurement excellence
- Drive accountability and performance as per role expectations.
- Manage the source to contract process
- Manage and support the contract negotiation process.

About You

- Procurement and negotiation experience
- Team player who has attention to detail while keeping in mind the bigger picture
- Some understanding of contract law is preferred
- Experience working in a multinational company and/or in the Energy sector desirable.
