The Chance

If you enjoy leading significant projects, influencing stakeholders and driving meaningful organisational change, this role offers the chance to make a real impact.

As a Project Manager within the Digital Transformation and Projects team, you’ll be responsible for leading a diverse portfolio of projects that drive innovation, continuous improvement and enhanced service delivery across Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS). Working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders, you will identify, shape and deliver strategic business improvement initiatives that strengthen systems, streamline processes and improve customer outcomes. Combining project leadership, stakeholder engagement and business transformation expertise, you will play a key role in influencing change, driving innovation and supporting DVS to respond to current and future service delivery needs.

There is currently one (1) permanent and one (1) fixed term position available, with the possibility of extension and or permanency.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed term or permanent) that arise within the next 12 months from date of first appointment across the DTMI.

About you

- Proven experience leading projects from planning through to delivery, successfully managing competing priorities, resources and stakeholders to achieve outcomes on time and within budget.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop trusted partnerships and work collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
- Strong communication skills,



with the confidence to prepare high-quality written documentation and convey complex ideas clearly to a range of audiences.
- A strategic and analytical mindset, enabling you to identify opportunities, solve complex problems and deliver practical, evidence-based solutions.
- Well-developed negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities and achieve positive outcomes in a project environment
