About the role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of construction projects from commencement through to completion. Working closely with the Construction Manager, Site Managers, subcontractors, consultants and clients, you will oversee the project's program, budget, quality, safety and overall delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
- Developing and managing project programs and budgets
- Coordinating subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and site teams
- Monitoring project costs, variations and financial performance
- Managing procurement and subcontractor engagement
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Identifying and resolving project issues proactively
- Ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget
- Reviewing plans, specifications and construction documentation
- Ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations, standards and WHS requirements
About you
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
- Relevant construction qualifications
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts and project management
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, programs and subcontractors
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Robust attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to identify problems and develop practical solutions
- A proactive, accountable and professional approach
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
