This large and well‑established CBD client of about 40 lawyers, 10 Partners - and counting - is looking for their next Leasing/Property Lawyer.

This role offers genuine variety: significant leasing work with real responsibility, plus meaty property matters across the broader practice. It’s the best of both worlds.

You’ll join a busy, well‑respected Property Team working across retail, commercial and industrial leasing, acquisitions, disposals, due diligence and general property advisory. Senior lawyers here are generous with their time, clear in expectations and committed to helping you grow.

The Role

- Retail, commercial and industrial leasing for landlords and tenants
- Property transactions including sales, purchases, development work and due diligence
- Drafting, negotiating and advising on property and commercial documentation
- Direct work with sophisticated clients
- Lease disputes
- Shopping centre leases,



Small Business Commissioner mediations, Retail Leases Act VCAT matters
- Liquor and Gaming Licensing

You Will Need

- Solid experience in leasing and property law (3–7 PAE ideal, open to strong juniors and seniors)
- Confidence drafting and negotiating leases and related agreements
- A commercial mindset, solid communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A collaborative, positive approach - this team genuinely love working together
