About the role

All Stone Benchtops SA is seeking a Qualified Stonemason to join our team in Gawler Belt. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with premium natural and engineered stone materials, crafting high-quality benchtops and architectural features for residential and commercial clients. As a key member of our skilled trades team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional stone work that defines the quality and reputation of our business.

What you'll be doing

- Measuring, marking, and cutting stone materials to precise specifications using hand tools and specialised machinery
- Shaping and finishing stone surfaces to achieve the desired aesthetic and functional outcomes
- Installing benchtops and stone features on client premises, ensuring proper fitting and alignment
- Preparing stone materials for polishing, sealing, and other finishing treatments
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition and following all workplace health and safety protocols
- Collaborating with team members and management to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to specification
- Providing accurate measurements and feedback to support project planning and client communication
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail throughout all tasks

What we're looking for

- Relevant formal qualifications or apprenticeship in stonemasonry or stonemason trade
- Proven experience working with natural stone, engineered stone, and composite materials
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in stonemason work
- Strong understanding of stone cutting, shaping, finishing, and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately




- Experience with benchtop fabrication and installation is highly desirable
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements, including secure handling of stone and machinery
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliability, punctuality, and a skilled approach to work
