Queensland Sales & Business Development Manager

Pacific Packaging Australia is seeking a hands-on Sales & Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth across Queensland.

Based in Rocklea, Brisbane, this is an on-site, full-time field sales role covering Brisbane, Central Queensland and North Queensland, with regular travel including Rockhampton and Townsville.

About the role

You will take commercial ownership of Queensland growth across our industrial and commercial packaging range, including bulk bags and FIBCs, woven sacks, stretch film, strapping, tapes, load restraint products, builders film, ropes, twines and customised packaging solutions.

This is not a desk-based management role. We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting customers, uncovering opportunities, winning current business and developing commercially valuable accounts.

Key responsibilities:

- Win new industrial and commercial B2B customers across Queensland
- Build and manage a disciplined target-account pipeline
- Grow existing accounts through cross-selling and increased share of wallet
- Reactivate dormant and underdeveloped customers
- Identify high-volume, contract and custom-product opportunities




- Prepare quotations and negotiate commercially sustainable agreements
- Build relationships with business owners, procurement, operations and warehouse leaders
- Provide accurate forecasts, market intelligence and competitor insights
- Work directly with senior management on major opportunities and territory growth

About you

You will have a proven record in B2B business development, territory sales or industrial sales. Packaging experience is helpful but not essential.

We would welcome candidates from industrial consumables, agricultural supply, warehouse products, transport and logistics, safety and PPE, building products, plastics, manufacturing consumables, materials handling, trade supply or similar repeat-purchase B2B sectors.

You will be commercially driven, confident prospecting, strong at account development and comfortable travelling throughout Queensland. An unrestricted driver licence is essential.

Package

$110,000–$120,000 base salary plus superannuation and a fully maintained company vehicle. The overall package can be reviewed for an exceptional candidate with a strong, relevant Queensland sales record.
