RAES Employment Officer and RAES Projects Supervisor

APY Lands, SA

Regional Anangu Services Aboriginal Corporation (RASAC) will deliver RAES on the APY Lands in South Australia. We are seeking to employ two positions for our RAES program. These positions would suit a couple who wish to work together in a rewarding role in a unique part of Central Australia.

RAES EMPLOYMENT OFFICER The RAES Employment Officer will work with our RAES participants to provide high quality, individually tailored pre-employment case management and support.

The Employment

Officer will also work with employers to refer RAES participants to job vacancies and support the overall operations of RAES in the community. The role will also include supporting delivery of RAES activities and projects. If you enjoy a mix of office work and working with people and communities, then this job will suit you!

RAES PROJECTS SUPERVISOR The RAES Projects Supervisor will primarily be responsible for the development and delivery of meaningful RAES activities and community projects for participants that will assist them to gain skills for future employment and contribute to their local community. If you have good practical/handyman skills and enjoy working with and training a team, this job will suit you!

- Enjoy living and working in a remote Indigenous community environment
- Hold a Current Manual Drivers Licence and ability to safely drive a vehicle on unsealed remote roads
- Be able to obtain a SA Working with Children Clearance

RASAC is a not-for-profit Aboriginal Corporation with extensive experience in remote service delivery on the APY Lands. RASAC is owned and governed by the Anangu people of the APY Lands. RASAC is the biggest employer on the APY Lands, creating real jobs within local communities.
