About the Role The primary purpose of the position of the Recruitment Business Partner - Operational Promotions is to ensure best practice recruitment and selection practices are maintained by the organisation, and all recruitment activities and processes are conducted in line with relevant legislation, enterprise agreements and policy frameworks.
The Recruitment Business Partner - Operational Promotions works proactively and constructively with internal and external stakeholders to lead and coordinate the operational promotional pre-selection and selection processes on behalf of FRV. In addition, this role also assists in the recruit firefighter selection process,
which includes participating in bulk recruitment activities and administration tasks. This rewarding role is based in Blackburn but will need the flexibility to work out of the CBD office when required.
What you will need to Succeed To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Experience in recruitment partnering, including high volume recruitment
- Proven ability to provide advice and guidance on contemporary, best practice recruitment/selection practices, which adheres to legislative requirements
- Confident and calm demeanour
- Ideally experienced in unionised environments (preferred)
- Ability to deal with competing stakeholder needs and prioritise accordingly
- An excellent level of attention to detail and exemplary record keeping skills, including proficiency with the MS Office suite
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or an equivalent level of expertise and knowledge gained through experience and training

Important Information
FRV’s standard practice is to appoint at the base of the salary range ($99,163 - $111,492 p.a. pro rata plus superannuation) however consideration will be given to an above base salary within the advertised range based on the successful candidate’s skills and experience
