- Full-time temporary Clerk Grade 7/8 ($116,981 - $129,492 per annum) chance up to 30 June 2027, based in Central Coast (preferred) or Newcastle.
About the role
As our Regional Coordination Officer, your role will be to support the delivery of the Government's priorities across regional NSW through coordination, project support and stakeholder engagement activities. Working closely with regional coordination teams across the North region, you will contribute to place-based initiatives, support cross-agency collaboration and help drive positive outcomes for regional communities.
The role involves researching and analysing issues, preparing high-quality advice and reports, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and supporting complex projects with government agencies and community partners.

We're Looking For
- Policy and analytical capability: Experience researching and analysing complex regional, social, economic or service delivery issues to develop balanced, evidence‑based advice.
- Clear written communication: Demonstrated ability to prepare high‑quality briefs, reports and correspondence in plain English for senior leaders within tight timeframes.
- Whole‑of‑government awareness: Understanding of how government operates, including ministerial,
agency and central agency environments, and the ability to work effectively within these contexts.
- Stakeholder engagement and collaboration: Proven experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with government, industry, community, ACCO’s or non‑government stakeholders to support shared outcomes.
- Planning and prioritisation: Ability to manage competing priorities, organise your workload and deliver work to agreed timeframes and standards.
- Integrity and professionalism: Commitment to public sector values, ethical decision‑making and accountability in all aspects of your work.
Essential requirement:
- Current NSW driver’s licence.
