The Role

We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses to provide quality clinical care for our aged care residents based on individual assessment, established procedures and best practice. You will contribute to the safe delivery of quality care in keeping with the Mission and Values of the organisation. ?About the Role

- Position Title: Registered Nurse
- Reporting To: Clinical Care Coordinator
- Available positions: 2

1. Full-Time Registered Nurse - 80Hrs /Fortnight to commence immediately (Monday to Friday shifts 06:30AM - 03:00PM)
2. 12-Month Maternity Leave contract with option to extend to commence 5th October 2026 (Tuesday to Saturday shifts 02:30PM - 11:00PM)

Key Duties

- Ensure appropriate and timely communication of care plans to all relevant parties and coordinate care requirements with external health professionals
- Administer medications safely and correctly in accordance with regulatory requirements and ABH’s policies and procedures
- Comply with WHS legislation, policies, procedures, and directions, and adopt safe work practices consistent with these
- Be professional, respectful, open, and accurate in all communications with residents and their representatives
- Review skin integrity of all residents for potential wounds and manage appropriately
- Report resident and family concerns, ideas, feedback, and complaints in a timely manner and in accordance with ABH’s policies and procedures

Professional Skills

- 5+ Years experience as a RN, preferably in Aged Care
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards,



Aged Care Act & Charter of Aged Care Rights
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing further education & professional development
- Experience and competence in managing clinical care
- Demonstrated ability to deliver person‐centered care
- Understanding of safe work practices

About you

- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Solid computer skills, with intermediate knowledge and application of Microsoft Suite and care software
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Critical thinking/problem solving skills
- Ability to lead others
- Be able to work rotating shifts if required

Essential Criteria

- Current Registration with AHPRA as a RN
- Qualifications/ training relevant to Aged Care
- Current First Aid Certificate
