About the role

Join our Acute Stroke & Neurology Ward as a Grade 2 Registered Nurse , providing safe, holistic and person-centred care to patients with complex neurological and stroke-related needs.

Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you’ll deliver high-quality clinical care, provide patient and family education, and support positive patient outcomes. You’ll work closely with the ANUM and NUM and contribute to a culture of caring, excellence, integrity and respect.

Key Accountabilities

Deliver person-centred care aligned with RMH values and individual patient, consumer and family needs.

Maintain your own and others’ safety and wellbeing, working within scope of practice and seeking support when required.

Collaborate with patients, carers, families and multidisciplinary teams to achieve high-quality outcomes.

About You

You are a Registered Nurse who brings 2 years' experience as well as:





Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clinical and executive stakeholders A collaborative approach and commitment to high-quality, person-centred care

Commitment to ongoing learning, professional development and continuous improvement

Previous experience in a Neurology/Stroke setting is desirable
