About the role

Casual shifts built around your availability, and genuinely varied. One weekend you might be trackside as cars hit the circuit, the next running a medical post at a festival, the week after out on a mine or construction site as the medic the whole operation relies on.

Most of our work is in South East Queensland, but we deploy across Australia and the Asia Pacific. If you're up for travel and FIFO rotations, there's plenty of it. If you'd rather stay local, that works too.

Wherever you are, you're set up to do the job properly: formal Clinical Practice Guidelines overseen by our Chief Medical Officer, medicines authorities in QLD and NSW, and proper equipment. You get to practise, not just stand by.

Everyone starts in the casual pool. As we grow, ongoing part-time and full time roles, senior event positions and site contracts open up, and we offer those to our existing team first wherever we can.

Key responsibilities

- Provide pre-hospital care at events, festivals, motorsport venues, and mining, construction and remote sites
- Work autonomously within our Clinical Practice Guidelines
- Run a medical post or site clinic as the sole clinician when required
- Represent ELS professionally with clients and site teams

About you

- Current AHPRA general registration as a paramedic. New grads welcome to apply, with some student roles available.




- Right to work in Australia and a current driver licence
- Some weekend availability
- Comfortable working autonomously within clear clinical guidelines
- Professional and easy to deal with on site. You're the face of ELS out there

Experience in events, motorsport, mining or industrial work is a bonus, not a requirement. Same goes for site inductions like Standard 11. We'd rather teach a great clinician the motorsport side than the other way around.

Trackside at motorsport, at major events and festivals, and on mining, construction, energy and remote sites, we work in some of the most demanding industries there are. Founded by former state ambulance professionals and based in South East Queensland, we've built our name on clinicians who can handle themselves anywhere. Demand keeps growing, and we need more registered paramedics to grow with us.
