? We’re Hiring: Release Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically skilled, and proactive Release Engineer to manage and improve software release processes across development, testing, staging, and production environments. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about automation, CI/CD, DevOps, software delivery, and building reliable release pipelines.
? Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate software releases across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable and automated software delivery.
- Automate build, deployment, testing, and release processes.
- Coordinate release schedules, deployment plans, and production rollouts with engineering teams.
- Monitor release activities and ensure deployments are completed successfully.
- Troubleshoot build failures, deployment issues, configuration problems, and release-related incidents.
- Implement version control, branching, tagging, and release management strategies.
- Maintain release documentation, deployment procedures, checklists, and technical records.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Product Managers, and IT teams.
- Support rollback, recovery, and emergency release procedures when required.
- Manage application configurations, environment variables, dependencies, and deployment artifacts.
- Implement automated quality gates and testing within release pipelines.
- Monitor deployment performance and identify opportunities to improve release reliability and efficiency.
- Support infrastructure and environment provisioning for software releases.
- Ensure releases comply with security, quality, operational, and organizational standards.
- Continuously evaluate and introduce tools and practices that improve software delivery.
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,
Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in release engineering, DevOps, software development, QA, or system administration is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates and entry-level candidates with relevant technical knowledge are welcome to apply.
- Robust understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and software release processes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
- Basic programming or scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or infrastructure automation is an advantage.
- Understanding of build systems, deployment pipelines, environments, and configuration management.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud platforms is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple releases and priorities.
- Robust communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Robust interest in DevOps, automation, cloud technologies, and modern software delivery practices.
