Research Assistant - Tech & Financial Innovation

We are seeking a Research Assistant to support an internationally focused R&D; initiative spanning emerging technology, sustainability and financial innovation.

The ideal candidate combines academic rigour with an entrepreneurial mindset, startup experience and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

- Conduct interdisciplinary research and analyse global market trends.
- Review academic, technical and industry developments.
- Engage with stakeholders across international innovation ecosystems.
- Translate complex findings into clear reports and practical recommendations.
- Contribute to high-quality R&D; outputs and the evaluation of emerging concepts.

Ideal Background

- Postgraduate research student, preferably from a leading university.
- Background in engineering, computer science, finance, economics, sustainability or innovation.
- Strong research, analytical and communication capabilities.
- Startup, entrepreneurship or technology-commercialisation experience.




- Interest in combining engineering excellence with financial innovation.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, globally oriented environment.

Location and Working Arrangement

- Remote role, part-time and flexible arrangements designed to accommodate postgraduate research commitments.

Eligibility and Appointment This opportunity is intended for postgraduate researchers seeking applied R&D; and entrepreneurial experience. It is not open to full-time industry professionals seeking additional employment or candidates primarily seeking a general part time role.
