Our client is a well-established market and social research consultancy, delivering both qualitative and quantitative research across a range of sectors including government and corporate clients.

The Role

We're looking for a mid-level researcher to join a busy insights team. This is a mixed qual and quant role with a strong focus on moderation. The team's workload currently spans public sector projects alongside corporate and ad-hoc category work, with a strong pipeline over the coming months.

Responsibilities

- Moderate focus groups and in-depth interviews across multiple sites, with some travel involved
- Run online qualitative sessions via video conferencing tools
- Contribute to a mixed qual and quant project load
- Work across a diverse client base spanning public sector, corporate and ad-hoc categories




- Collaborate with senior researchers and support staff on multi-site studies
- Take on quant-focused work where capacity allows, even if your primary strength is qual

About You

You're a capable, mid-level researcher with solid moderation experience, comfortable working across both qual and quant projects. You don't need to specialise in one or the other, but strong focus group moderation skills are essential.

- At least 3 years' experience in market research
- Experience moderating focus groups (essential); IDI experience also valued
- Comfortable working on a mixed qual/quant project load
- Experience in government sector research favourable, but not essential
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
