Role Description The Research Study Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in South Yarra, VIC. This position supports research projects by assisting with study setup, participant coordination, data collection, and documentation in accordance with established protocols. Day-to-day tasks may include preparing materials, helping with laboratory procedures, entering and organizing data, and maintaining accurate records to ensure research quality and compliance.

The role involves collaborating with research staff, communicating with participants or stakeholders,



and contributing to the smooth running of studies and related activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Research and Laboratory Skills to assist with study procedures, data collection, and adherence to protocols.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Data Analysis capabilities to interpret findings, manage datasets, and support reporting.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with team members, interact with participants, and document study activities clearly.
- Relevant tertiary education in a scientific, health, or related field (e.g., psychology, public health, biomedical science) is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow instructions and work safely in a research or laboratory environment are key.
- Experience with basic computer applications, data entry tools, and familiarity with research ethics or regulatory requirements is an advantage.
