About the role
Calce Company is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Retail Sales Specialist to join our team in Arundel, QLD, We will soon be moving to Stapylton towards the end of 2026. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales performance across our retail operations. As a Retail Sales Specialist, you will be the face of our brand, creating memorable shopping experiences whilst achieving sales targets and building lasting customer relationships.

What you'll be doing
- Greeting customers warmly and providing knowledgeable product recommendations tailored to individual needs
- Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
- Maintaining an in-depth understanding of product features, benefits and pricing to address customer inquiries
- Meeting and exceeding personal and team sales targets through proactive engagement and suggestive selling
- Keeping the sales floor neat, organised and visually appealing through regular merchandising and stock rotation
- Assisting with inventory management, stock checks and notifying management of low stock levels
- Handling customer complaints and enquiries professionally, seeking appropriate resolutions
- Collaborating with team members to create a positive and productive work environment
- Supporting promotional activities and implementing point-of-sale displays
- Adhering to company policies, procedures and health and safety standards
What we're looking for
- Proven experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a sales-focused role
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping customers
- Strong communication abilities and the capacity to build rapport with diverse clientele
- Numeracy skills and comfort with using technology and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle stock
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and peak trading periods as required
- A positive mindset and willingness to learn and develop within the role
- Preferred experience in the consumer products or retail sector
