We are seeking a skilled and reliable full time Roller Shutter Door Installer/Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial/industrial/domestic doors including roller shutter doors, roller doors, sectional overhead doors, tilt doors, swing gates, slide gates, bi-folds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repairs to roller shutter doors, sectional doors, roller doors.
- Operate power tools and lifting equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect completed installations for compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical and electrical repairs as required.
- Communicate with customers and team members to ensure smooth project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent.
- Follow all company safety procedures and relevant health & safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience installing and repairing roller shutter doors
- Strong technical and problem-solving abilities in mechanical and electrical areas.
- Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately.
- Hold a current heavy duty manual driver’s license, forklift and EWP license
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials and equipment.
- Willingness to work flexible schedule and travel to various job sites.
Desirable (Preferred):
- Forklift, EWP license, White card
- Working with Children check
- Mechanical knowledge, welding and experience with power tools
