Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Roofing Apprentice position based in Brisbane, QLD. The role involves assisting qualified roofers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of metal roofing, cladding, and rainwater goods on residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Day-to-day tasks include preparing materials and tools, loading and unloading equipment, following instructions for safe work at height, and helping install roofing components, insulation, waterproofing systems,



and edge protection.

The Roofing

Apprentice is expected to maintain a clean and organized work area, adhere to work health and safety procedures, and participate in ongoing training to develop technical skills. The role requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and supporting the team to deliver high-quality workmanship on schedule.

Qualifications

- Foundational construction skills, including basic Carpentry and general knowledge of Roofs.
- Experience or training in Insulation and Waterproofing installation for roofing systems.
- Ability to work safely at height, with awareness of fall protection and site safety requirements.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and develop trade skills through on-the-job and formal training.
- Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to lift, carry, and work on roofs and ladders for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to secure work practices and quality outcomes.
- Current driver’s license and reliable transport to job sites in Brisbane and surrounding areas.
- Construction White Card and any relevant working-at-heights certifications (or willingness to obtain).
