RatPack Travel was established in 2016 and has become one of the best-rated travel agencies in Australia.

We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven individual to join our Travel Tech business and take control and ownership of one of our sales teams.

Based in Byron Bay, we are a fast-growing team seeking an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, driven to achieve excellence and open to constantly improving.

Pay:

We pay an industry-leading hourly rate plus super plus uncapped commission (paid weekly)

Commission + Hourly:

- Bonuses are paid weekly

- Commission is uncapped
- No cold calling (outbound calls are made from leads generated by the business)

Hours: The role is Monday to Thursday, with hours from 10 am to 6:30 pm. Half Days Friday (7 am - 12 pm).

What does the role involve?

⌁ Leading and motivating the sales team to hit and exceed targets

⌁ Creating and refining sales and marketing strategies

⌁ Providing training, support, and regular performance feedback

⌁ Keeping the team up to speed on supplier updates, promotions, and new rental options





⌁ Tracking team performance and identifying areas for improvement

⌁ Collaborating with the broader team to enhance the overall customer journey

⌁ Spotting current opportunities in the market to grow our brand and customer base

But at the heart of it we help our customers book camper-van rentals in Australia and New Zealand.

The position is a full-time sales manager role with targets and uncapped commission in our office located in Byron Bay Industrial Estate.

The day-to-day role:

⌁ Running daily sales meetings outlining top performers from the day before, setting the room and outlining the goal and target for the day.

⌁ Running daily workshops working on the areas of improvement for the team and highlighting and doubling down on the strengths

⌁ Daily 1-2-1 management with each team member to help them hit and exceed targets

⌁ Being the life and soul of the room - with the ability to hold a room and the energy to create a healthy/positive sales environment

⌁Have the ability to jump on the phone with customers and help them get a booking sorted.

To apply for this position, NO prior travel agency experience is required. Sales experience is!

All training will be provided.

⌁ Have full working rights in Australia

⌁ A strong work ethic & desire to learn within the travel industry

⌁ Must have worked in sales
