Beauty Connections is a fast growing Australian beauty business representing an exciting portfolio of brands including Umberto Giannini, Marc Anthony, Cake Beauty, Dr Paw Paw, Trouble Maker and more.

We work with major retailers across Australia and New Zealand to bring exciting and commercially successful beauty products to market.

We are looking for a proactive, highly organised and beauty obsessed Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our Melbourne team.

This is a unique opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands on experience across Sales, Account Management, Brand and Marketing.

The Chance

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days will look the same.

You will support the wider Sales and Marketing team while also taking ownership of selected retail accounts, including opportunities to work across major Australian & New Zealand Accounts.

With support and guidance from the National Account Manager, you will gain genuine Account Management experience, from analysing sales and preparing reports through to building customer relationships, identifying opportunities and supporting commercial decisions.

Alongside this, you will be heavily involved in our brand and marketing activity, supporting product launches, campaigns, PR, influencers, social media, content creation and retailer activations.

We are looking for someone who is equally excited about the commercial side of beauty and building successful brands.

What You'll Be Doing

Sales & Account Management

- Take ownership of selected retail accounts and manage day-to-day activity with support from the National Account Manager.
- Run weekly sales reporting and help prepare weekly trade reports and business presentations.
- Analyse sales and product performance to identify trends, opportunities and areas requiring attention.
- Build confidence in making recommendations and identifying opportunities to grow our brands within retail accounts.
- Support customer presentations, range reviews, product submissions, pricing and promotional activity.
- Build relationships with retail buyers and key customer contacts.




- Maintain customer portals, product information and retailer submissions.
- Coordinate samples, product information and other customer requirements.
- Conduct competitor and market research.

Brand & Marketing 

- Support brand launches, campaigns, retailer activity and day-to-day marketing tasks across our portfolio of beauty brands.
- Assist with social media, content ideas and capturing photo and video content.
- Visit stores to capture new launches, displays, product discovery, product in hand content and retailer activity.
- Create and maintain PR and influencer lists for launches, gifting and ongoing activity.
- Coordinate PR and influencer send outs from start to finish, including preparing products, packing boxes, creating labels and organising postage.
- Keep PR stock, samples, packaging and marketing materials organised and ensure anything required is ordered or communicated well ahead of time.
- Support influencer activity, events, launches and activations, including preparation, set up and on-the-day assistance.
- Keep marketing lists, trackers, campaign information and assets up to date.
- Stay across upcoming activity and proactively flag anything that needs to be ordered, organised, followed up or actioned.
- Provide general support across the wider Sales and Marketing team.

About You You are organised, proactive and genuinely passionate about the beauty industry.

You might be someone who loves keeping up with the latest trends across hair, makeup and skincare, but you are also interested in the commercial side of the business and want to understand what makes a product or brand successful.

You don't need to know everything, this is a junior role and you will be supported and developed. However,



we are looking for someone who can bring a strong foundation and is ready to take ownership, think commercially and build confidence.

You’ll bring

- At least 12 months' experience in a sales, marketing, account coordination, retail or related role.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with numbers and sales data.
- A basic understanding of retail and commercial principles such as pricing, margin, landed costs and profitability.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive approach and strong follow-through.
- Commercial curiosity and a willingness to analyse performance and bring forward ideas.
- A genuine interest in beauty, social media, influencers and content creation.
- A hands-on attitude — whether that means analysing a sales report, packing PR boxes, capturing content in-store or helping set up an event.
- The confidence to ask questions, take initiative and progressively take on greater responsibility.

Experience in beauty, retail, FMCG or consumer products would be highly regarded, but the right attitude, energy and willingness to learn are just as important. Why Join Beauty Connections?
