SOAK is coming to Sydney and we’re looking for the person who will lead it.

SOAK Bar is a Melbourne-born beauty destination combining premium beauty services with the atmosphere and experience of a bar.

Following the success of our two Melbourne salons, we’re opening our first Sydney location inside MYER Sydney’s Beauty whatHall on Pitt Street.

We’re looking for an experienced Salon Manager to build, lead and grow our Sydney team from day one.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves people, understands the commercial side of running a salon and knows how to create an exceptional client experience.

THE ROLE

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day performance of SOAK Sydney, including:

- Leading and supporting the Sydney team
- Creating a strong, positive team culture
- Managing daily salon operations
- Coaching team members and managing performance
- Driving rebooking, utilisation, retail and revenue
- Maintaining SOAK service and presentation standards
- Managing client experience and resolving issues
- Stock and inventory oversight
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding
- Working closely with our Melbourne leadership team
- Building a strong relationship with the MYER team
- Ensuring the salon meets operational, hygiene and compliance requirements

You’ll be supported by our Melbourne management and head office teams, but Sydney will be your salon. We want someone excited by the opportunity to take ownership of it.

ABOUT YOU

We’d love to meet you if you:

- Have previous salon, beauty,



retail or hospitality management experience
- Are a genuinely strong people leader
- Are commercially minded and comfortable working with KPIs
- Can coach a team without micromanaging them
- Are organised and calm when things get busy
- Have high standards and notice the little things
- Understand what exceptional customer service actually looks like
- Are confident handling difficult conversations when required
- Love creating a workplace people actually enjoy coming to

Beauty industry experience is highly regarded, but exceptional management experience from premium retail or hospitality will also be considered. WHY SOAK?
