About the role The experienced Scaffolder is responsible for the safe and efficient erection, alteration, inspection and dismantling of scaffolding systems across residential, commercial and construction sites. The position requires a competent and experienced scaffolder who can work independently and as part of a team, follow scaffold plans and site requirements, identify hazards, and ensure all scaffolding work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

- Safely erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding systems within the scope of the employee's High Risk Work Licence.

- Read and follow scaffold plans, drawings, specifications and site instructions.

- Ensure scaffolding is correctly erected, secured, tied, braced and suitable for its intended use.

- Inspect scaffolding components before use and remove or report damaged or defective equipment.

- Conduct appropriate checks of completed and altered scaffolding.

- Identify site hazards and ensure appropriate controls are implemented before commencing work.

- Follow Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), site safety plans and company procedures.

- Safely undertake work at heights and use fall-protection equipment where required.





- Ensure materials are stored safely and work areas are kept clean and organized.

- Complete required pre-starts, site documentation and safety records.

About you

- Asbestos Awareness and silica exposure certificate
- A current Construction White Card.

- A current High Risk Work License – Scaffolding (Basic, Intermediate and/or Advanced as applicable to the position).

- A current Australian driver's licence.

- Relevant scaffolding experience within the construction industry.

- Demonstrated knowledge of safe scaffolding practices and WHS requirements.

- Ability to safely perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, climbing and working at heights.

- Ability to read and understand SWMS, site instructions and relevant scaffold documentation.

- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.

- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
