Matrix Education is now hiring Science Teachers to join us at our Box Hill (VIC) campus.

As a casual Science Teacher, you will have your regular Chemistry or Physics classes each week (from 4:30pm on weekdays) during the school term, and have the opportunity to teach the school holiday course. All lessons and assessments are prepared for you, so there is minimal preparation required.

This role is ideal for anyone who is a subject matter expert, who can explain things clearly and is passionate about their area of expertise! Our team is a diverse group of high school Teachers, corporate professionals, university teaching staff and post graduate candidates.

What you'll do...

- Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the academic term.




- Teaching opportunities available on weekdays during the VIC school holiday period.
- Ongoing monitoring of student’s academic progress through marking of short weekly quizzes.
- Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring.

What you'll need...

- Tertiary qualifications in Education or a subject matter related discipline.
- Possess a genuine passion for teaching.
- Previous experience teaching secondary Science in a classroom setting.
- Have extensive knowledge of the current VCE curriculum in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics.
