U-Move Australia is seeking a reliable and experienced Second Class Welder to join our team in Henderson, WA.

The role will primarily involve welding and fabrication work on shipping containers, including container modifications, repairs and general workshop duties.

Key responsibilities include

- MIG welding and general fabrication
- Cutting, grinding and preparing steel
- Modifying and repairing shipping containers
- Installing doors, windows, frames and other steel components
- Reading basic measurements and following job specifications
- Using workshop tools and equipment safely
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Assisting with general workshop duties when required

The successful applicant will:
- Have previous welding or fabrication experience




- Be confident using MIG welding equipment, grinders and cutting tools
- Have good attention to detail
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Have a robust understanding of workplace safety
- Be physically capable of completing general fabrication and workshop work

Experience with shipping container modifications is preferred but not essential. This is a great opportunity to join a growing local business with ongoing work available for the right person.

Pay: $40.00 – $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
