Rock Sugar is looking for experienced wait staff who can handle a section, serve with a smile and deliver a high standard of customer service. We also host lots of private functions in our event space and are looking for someone to coordinate these functions on the day.

What's on offer?

2-3 shifts per week available (evening shifts), must be available on Saturdays (no late nights required). Additional shifts and extra opportunities will become available for the right candidate. Many of our staff are studying or managing a second day job. We are flexible with hours and do our best to accommodate any scheduling requests.

Start date: ASAP A typical roster:

Friday (optional): 6pm-10pm/10:30pm

Saturday (required): 6pm-10:30pm/11pm

Weeknight/Sunday shift (optional): 6pm-9:30pm

Our ideal candidate has strong section experience, someone who is super organised, able to multi-task, manage dietary requirements for large groups but most importantly someone who has a strong team focus.



We are known for our kind yet attentive service and the generous tips from customers are a reflection of this.

Duties Include: Managing a section, Co-ordinate events

Engaging with customers, Communicating with the kitchen

Taking orders, Running food/drink orders, Taking payments
