Security Service Technician A well-established electronic security integrator with more than 20 years in the industry is expanding its technical team on the Gold Coast. The business delivers integrated security solutions across government and healthcare environments, with its technicians regularly working across important and highly controlled sites.

The technical team is well presented, experienced and trusted to work in environments where quality, professionalism and attention to detail matter. The key technologies across the business are Integriti and Gallagher, and this position would suit someone who genuinely enjoys the technical side of electronic security, particularly configuring systems, troubleshooting faults and getting systems commissioned and operating correctly.

You will be responsible for a range of service and technical duties across electronic security systems, including configuration, fault finding, testing, commissioning and system upgrades. The role would suit a technician who enjoys diagnosing problems and working out how systems operate, rather than simply installing equipment and moving on to the next job.

The role

- Service, troubleshoot and maintain electronic security systems




- Configure and commission access control and security systems
- Fault find across hardware, software and system configurations
- Work with Integriti and Gallagher technologies
- Attend government, healthcare and other significant client sites
- Complete testing, maintenance and other service-related technical work
- Maintain a professional standard when representing the business and working on client sites

What you'll need

- Current QLD Security Licence
- Gallagher Access Technician certification OR Integriti certification
- Experience working with electronic security systems
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
- A genuine interest in electronics, systems and technology
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Professional presentation and the ability to work independently
