With continued growth across Queensland, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Security Technician Installer / Labourer to join our team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, field-based role supporting the installation, maintenance and removal of temporary electronic security systems across construction and commercial sites throughout Queensland. You do not need to be an experienced Security Technician. We are looking for someone who is practical, mechanically or technically minded, comfortable working on construction sites and keen to learn.

Full training will be provided to the right person, making this a great opportunity for a labourer, trade assistant or construction worker looking to develop a career in the electronic security industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the installation and removal of CCTV and temporary security systems
- Install and relocate security cameras, poles and associated equipment
- Assist technicians with servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance
- Load, unload and transport equipment to and from sites
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and equipment testing
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Work on construction and commercial sites throughout Queensland
- Complete basic job documentation and site reports
- Liaise professionally with builders, supervisors and clients
- Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment
- Follow company OH&S; procedures and site safety requirements

About You

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and willing to learn. You will enjoy working outdoors, using tools and being part of a hands-on team.

Essential Requirements





- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Construction White Card
- Good work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Willingness to learn new technology and develop technical skills

Highly Desirable

- Previous construction or labouring experience
- Trade Assistant experience
- CCTV, security or telecommunications experience
- Electrical, data or cabling experience
- Queensland Security Installer Licence
- EWP Licence
- Working at Heights Certification
- Cabling Registration
- First Aid Certificate
