Perigon Group is partnering with a well-established global financial services organisation to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant into its Brisbane finance team.

This is a broad financial accounting opportunity that would suit a CA/CPA qualified accountant looking for a role with strong technical foundations, but enough variety to continue broadening their experience.

Working closely with an experienced finance leadership team, the role will cover core financial accounting, regulatory & investment accounting, and reporting responsibilities while also providing exposure to treasury and a range of finance projects as the organisation continues to grow.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

- Month-end financial accounting, reconciliations and reporting
- Statutory and management reporting
- Financial statement preparation and audit requirements
- Technical accounting and application of relevant accounting standards
- Supporting treasury and cash flow activities
- Exposure to analysis, forecasting and broader finance support
- Process improvement, systems and reporting initiatives
- Involvement in ad-hoc finance and commercial projects





About You We’re looking for a CA/CPA qualified accountant with strong technical foundations and an interest in building their career within financial services.

You could be

- Already working across regulated environments, banking, funds/investments or broader financial services; or
- Looking to make your first move from Big 4/mid-tier practice, with relevant financial services clients (or interest) across audit, advisory or accounting.
