Working closely with leadership, you'll manage an established client portfolio, provide strategic advice to a diverse range of businesses, and play a key role in driving the firm's continued growth.

The Role

You will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients, providing high-quality compliance and advisory services while building strong long-term relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing a portfolio of business clients across taxation, compliance, advisory and financial reporting engagements

- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns and BAS for a range of entity structures

- Providing proactive commercial, financial and taxation advice to support client growth and business outcomes

- Managing and mentoring junior team members while helping develop capability across the broader team

- Working closely with the Directors on complex financial reporting and taxation matters

- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, workflows and operational efficiencies

- Leading and contributing to automation and AI initiatives across the firm

- Driving efficiencies through technology integration, data automation and process improvement

- Building trusted client relationships and acting as a key point of contact





- Representing the firm at networking events, industry functions and business forums

- Contributing to the firm's organic growth through referrals, relationship building and exceptional client service

- Acting as an ambassador for the business and helping strengthen its presence within the local business community

About You

You are an experienced public practice accountant who enjoys taking ownership, building trusted relationships and operating with a high degree of autonomy.

You will bring:

- CA or CPA qualification, or be working towards completion

- 5+ years' experience within Australian public practice accounting

- Strong technical expertise across Australian taxation, compliance and financial reporting

- Confidence and maturity when communicating with clients, stakeholders and business owners
- The ability to work autonomously and manage your own client portfolio

- Genuine interest in technology, automation and the future of the accounting profession

- Strong commercial awareness and relationship management skills

- Comfort representing the firm at business networking and industry events
- A passion for building meaningful professional relationships and identifying growth opportunities

- Pride in your work, your clients and the business you represent
- A long-term mindset and desire to contribute to the future success of the firm
