The Role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a Markets Transformation team supporting the evolution of OTC derivative clearing platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams and external partners to define requirements, analyse processes and deliver business outcomes across key transformation streams.

Responsibilities

- Lead discovery activities and analyse current-state clearing and risk management processes
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagements to gather and validate requirements
- Perform gap analysis between current and future-state operating models




- Translate business needs into high-quality user stories and functional specifications
- Support backlog refinement, prioritisation and agile delivery activities
- Partner with product owners and development teams to deliver business outcomes
- Create explicit acceptance criteria and support testing activities
- Participate in integration testing, UAT and post-implementation support
- Present requirements and solution recommendations to technical and business stakeholders

What Our Client Requires

Essential Experience

- 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within Capital Markets
- Strong knowledge of derivatives products and post-trade/back-office processes
- Expertise across interest rate derivatives and fixed income products
- Proven requirements gathering, process mapping and stakeholder management skills
- Strong experience translating business requirements into functional specifications
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
- Demonstrated capability in user story creation, backlog refinement and UAT support
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Highly Regarded

- Experience within clearing houses, central banks or post-trade environments
- Knowledge of digital banking or enterprise financial services platforms
- Exposure to databases, Java, XML and application log analysis
- CFA, FRM or recognised Business Analysis certifications
- Techno-functional experience within capital markets platforms
