Do you have extensive experience in oncology and haematology pharmacy services? Are you excited about the opportunity to help shape the future of Cancer Pharmacy, with redevelopment underway for the new Bankstown Hospital? This is a maternity relief position that provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to play a key leadership role within the Bankstown Cancer Therapy Centre (CTC) Pharmacy.

As the Senior CTC Pharmacist, you will lead the safe and efficient delivery of specialised oncology and haematology pharmacy services, oversee the dispensing and supply of chemotherapy and clinical trial medications, and provide expert advice to multidisciplinary healthcare teams. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care while contributing to innovative cancer treatment programs and clinical research initiatives.

- Lead the safe and efficient operation of the Bankstown CTC Pharmacy service
- Oversee the dispensing, preparation, and supply of chemotherapeutic agents and clinical trial medications.
- Provide expert clinical advice in oncology, haematology, and clinical drug trials to healthcare professionals, patients, and carers.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and quality standards relating to cancer therapies and investigational medicines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes and support the delivery of high-quality cancer care.

- Registration as a Pharmacist with extensive hospital pharmacy experience, preferably within oncology, haematology, or clinical trials
- Demonstrated knowledge of chemotherapy preparation, dispensing practices, and investigational medicines management.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex pharmacy operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide expert advice to clinicians, patients, and carers.
- A commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and delivering highquality cancer care within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Selection Criteria To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

- Demonstrated high level skills and experience as a clinical pharmacist: this includes advanced level knowledge of therapeutics in the areas of oncology and haematology, clinical trials, relevant legislation and ability to apply these skills in practice.
- Experience in aseptic manufacture with demonstrated understanding of current national standards and regulations for compounding injectable products is desirable.
- Ability to develop and implement quality improvement activities to improve cancer care pharmacy services
- Advanced skills in using computer applications including electronic systems, dispensing, database management, spreadsheets, word processing and expertise in the use of electronic oncology information management systems such as MOSAIQ, CHARM or ARIA.
