DIRECTIONS Conference & Incentive Management is looking for a Senior Event Manager to join our Sydney team.

We create conferences, incentive travel programs, study tours and corporate events across Australia and around the world. No two programs are quite the same, and that’s exactly what makes the role engaging.

What you’ll be doingYou’ll manage programs from planning through to delivery, including:

- End-to-end management of conferences, incentives, study tours and corporate events
- Client relationships and day-to-day communication
- Budgets, supplier negotiations and financial management
- Venues, hotels, DMCs, production partners, speakers and entertainment
- Registration, delegate communications and event logistics
- Critical paths, run sheets and onsite operations
- Creative production, AV, styling and event details
- Destination, venue and experience research
- Domestic and international site inspections and program travel

Who we’re looking forYou’re an experienced event professional who is comfortable taking ownership of complex programs and juggling multiple priorities.

You’ll bring





- Strong corporate event, conference or incentive experience
- Excellent client and supplier relationship skills
- Confidence managing budgets and negotiations
- Great attention to detail
- A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A genuine interest in new destinations, venues and industry trends
- EventsAir experience is highly regarded
- Australian resident with full working rights
