About the role The Senior Gymnastics coach will have a focus on the Team Gym program and its growth and development. This will include administration and member service around the program, direct teaching of team gym classes, and direct teaching of gymnastics recreational classes. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team to provide positive experiences to young people. In this varied and flexible role, classified as a Senior Gymnastics Coach under our Enterprise Agreement, you will lead the way in creating a positive and inclusive gymnastics environment while supporting the development of gymnasts and junior coaches. In this exciting and rewarding role, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality gymnastics sessions tailored to various ages and abilities
- Mentor junior coaches and contribute to their professional development
- Develop, implement and review program content to support athlete progression
- Assist with future program development and innovation
- Play an active role in community engagement and local events
- Contribute to the administration and smooth operation of the gymnastics program

About You We are seeking an experienced and passionate gymnastics coach who:
- Has minimum 2 years of coaching experience within a competitive WAG program
- Holds a minimum Intermediate WAG coaching accreditation (Advanced level desirable)
- Is passionate about gymnastics and supporting young people to achieve their goals
- Have strong team building and leadership skills
- Can work autonomously and collaboratively
- Brings well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Has administration and customer service abilities
- Has the flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, some weekends, and school holidays
- Minimum 4 days availability required, Classes run 7 days per week, 49 weeks per year.
- Current gymnastics certification required
- Current CPR and First Aid certification desirable
- Ability to work at other locations desirable
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
