Senior Mechanical Maintenance / Reliability Engineers – Maintenance Build, Refresh & Optimisation

Crystalise continues to expand its Maintenance Build, Refresh and Optimisation capability in Perth, supporting major projects and operating assets across Australia and globally. We are seeking experienced Mechanical Maintenance / Reliability Engineers to support maintenance programs across the Oil & Gas and Resources sectors, working across both local and international project environments.

The role will focus on the build, refresh and optimisation of maintenance programs, including Asset Hierarchy, Equipment Criticality Assessment (ECA), RCM, RCA, maintenance strategy development and maintenance task optimisation.

Successful candidates will work across Perth-based project activities while supporting global client projects, and should also be prepared to undertake short-term site assignments, validation activities and client workshops as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver maintenance build, refresh and optimisation activities across local and global projects
- Develop, review and validate Asset Hierarchies and Asset Registers
- Perform and facilitate Equipment Criticality Assessments (ECA)
- Build, refresh and optimise equipment maintenance strategies
- Apply RCM, FMECA and risk-based maintenance methodologies
- Develop and optimise preventive and predictive maintenance tasks
- Review task frequencies, job plans and maintenance intervals
- Identify duplicated, ineffective or unnecessary maintenance activities
- Facilitate ECA, RCM, maintenance strategy and optimisation workshops
- Undertake Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and develop reliability improvement actions
- Build, review and cleanse maintenance master data within SAP and/or JDE
- Support maintenance planning,



scheduling and reliability improvement initiatives
- Undertake short-term site-based build, refresh, validation and optimisation activities

Essential Experience

- 8+ years’ track record in Maintenance, Reliability or Asset Management Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance build, refresh and optimisation
- Strong experience across Asset Hierarchy, ECA, maintenance strategy development, RCM/FMECA, RCA and maintenance task optimisation
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and/or JDE
- Experience building, reviewing or cleansing maintenance master data
- Ability to facilitate technical workshops with maintenance, operations and engineering personnel
- Oil & Gas and/or Resources experience is essential
- Comfortable working across multi-site and global project environments
- Prepared to undertake short-term site assignments where required
