We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Program Officer, to join the Digital Investment Fund (DIF), at the Department of Treasury & Finance (DTF) for a term contract of up to two (2) years with the possibility of ongoing in the future.
Remuneration: ASO7 – Salary Range ($116,089 to $125,490 p.a.)
About the opportunity:
As a dynamic and highly skilled operator, the Senior Program Officer will contribute to the effective operations of the Digital Investment Fund (DIF). As the primary contact point for the DIF, this role provides guidance and advice on the use of the Fund to stakeholders and manages both the day-to-day administrative functions and Secretariat activities that ensure the governance and operational aspects of the Fund are executed effectively. With exceptional organisational skills, ability to prioritise competing demands and ICT project experience, this role will support the DIF to continue driving impactful digital investment across government.
About you
As the Senior Program Officer, you will have extensive experience delivering administrative functions that effectively support governance and team operations. With a depth of understanding and experience in ICT project management, you will be able to guide, engage and contribute to the assessment of submissions to the DIF against eligibility criteria and investment principles. You will be a great communicator, both written and verbal, which will enable you to liaise with a range of senior executive stakeholders; establish and maintain effective working relationships; and represents the qualified, supportive and partnership approach the DIF takes to stakeholder engagement.
As a key member of the DIF team you will work effectively with your colleagues and independently to prioritise work, meet deadlines and maintain the accuracy of DIF records and documentation. Outcome driven, you will also have an ability to look for ways to improve DIF operations through a continuous improvement lens.
To be successful you will be:
- Experienced in providing high-quality briefings, expert written advice, and reports with recommendations for consideration by senior executives.
- Able to demonstrate significant ICT program/project management experience in high-performing environments.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Objective, and Power BI.
- Capable of building relationships with senior leaders including c-suite executives, complex stakeholders, and delivery partners.
- Able to demonstrate initiative, organisational ability, and independent judgement.
- Experienced with government frameworks and processes.
