We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee the successful planning, delivery, and completion of property-related projects, including residential, commercial, mixed-use developments, renovations, and refurbishments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and deliver property projects from commencement through to completion and handover.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and milestones.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate and liaise with architects, engineers, town planners, building surveyors, contractors, consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Manage project costs, track expenditure, and implement cost-control measures.
- Obtain and manage all required permits, approvals, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, costs, milestones, risks, and issues.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks that may affect project timeframes, budget, quality, or delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections and project meetings to monitor progress and ensure works are completed in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant legislation, building regulations, health and safety requirements, and industry standards.
- Conduct safety audits and ensure project teams follow appropriate safety protocols.
- Oversee project completion and handover, ensuring all documentation, inspections, certifications, and approvals are finalised.
- Prepare and maintain progress reports, cost reports, project documentation, and close-out reports.
- Maintain current knowledge of property legislation, regulations, construction requirements, and industry best practices.
About You
- Previous experience in property or construction project management
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Knowledge of building regulations, permits, and compliance requirements
- Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities
- Experience delivering projects on time and within budget
