We manage tenancy services, support housing provision in remote Aboriginal communities, and oversee government employee accommodation.

About The Role: The Senior Project Officer position assists Senior Project Managers on a range of non-residential building projects including hospitals and medical facilities, schools and TAFE colleges, police stations, fire stations and State Emergency Service bases, sports facilities, cultural venues and a range of other building types. The position is responsible for managing project outcomes and project management of low to medium value and risk and complexity projects inclusive of management of contracts, contractors and consultants, as well as a wide range of minor works and maintenance activities in regional and remote communities. It contributes to project teams of public and private sector professionals to plan and deliver projects for government, including working closely with local industry and regional client agencies to promote whole-of-government policies and objectives.

About You:

We’re looking for someone who has project experience, ideally related to corporate services, including in roles supporting project delivery, prioritisation, planning, conducting research, and driving implementation of business improvement initiatives.





The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator who displays initiative and has demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships, including with senior stakeholders. You will be someone who establishes clear plans and delivers against these plans.As well, you will respond positively to change and uncertainty and champion collaboration.

As a leader of change, you will embrace and exemplify the values and leadership behaviours.

The position operates in Personal Leadership context. This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn.
