About the Role An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Software Developer to join a large enterprise organisation, contributing to the development of a new Dynamic Forms module within a broader business management ecosystem.
This is a key project within a significant digital transformation initiative, with the successful candidate playing an important role in building new functionality used to capture, manage and maintain complex business information.
Working closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, testers and other senior developers, you'll be responsible for designing and developing cloud-based applications on Azure while contributing to the wider delivery of the platform.
This is an initial 6-month contract with potential for extension, offering the opportunity to work on a strategically important greenfield development project within a large and collaborative technology team.
You Should Have
- 5+ years' commercial software development experience
- Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Blazor
- Strong C# / .NET development experience
- Commercial experience working with Azure
- Experience developing cloud-based web/client-server applications
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
- Ability to proactively deliver outcomes with minimal hand-holding
- Ability to work effectively within a cooperative development team
- Strong problem-solving and solution design skills
- Experience working across the full software development lifecycle

Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with business stakeholders to understand user needs and develop system requirements
- Provide input into solution designs and document detailed design specifications
- Design, develop and maintain cloud-based web/client-server applications on Azure
- Build and enhance new functionality within the organisation's core business platform
- Develop and integrate APIs and supporting application functionality
- Contribute to UI/UX and reporting requirements where required
- Provide application management, maintenance and support within agreed SLAs
- Maintain accurate and consistent technical documentation
- Apply quality control throughout the SDLC, including UAT
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvements to existing technology
- Mentor and assist junior developers
- Identify and implement improvements to SDLC practices
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, testers and the broader delivery team
Working Arrangements
- Hybrid and flexible working arrangement
- Expected 2 days per week in the office
- Thursday is a mandatory office day
Contract & Benefits
